My sacrifice for Lent — Amazon one-click purchases of CD’s, books and DVDs. It’s not so much the financial expenditure (though that is a factor) — I am capable of spending hours haunting Amazon looking for obscure CD’s by obscure artists on obscure labels that I might have missed. I probably spend more time shopping than actually listening to my CD collection, which remains half unopened, in piles around my bed (to my wife’s unending horror). To a lesser extent, this is true of DVD’s as well.
So 46 days without visiting the site to window shop.
