We’re removing the stigma of depression
Join us for our fall campaign!
- remove the stigma of depression and realize we’re not alone.
- understand the ways our temperament and view of God affect the way we handle depression.
- learn a comprehensive approach to wellness in mind, body, and soul.
Join us as we use best-selling author Chris Hodge’s book, Out of the Cave, as a resource to discuss how we can help ourselves and others experience hope and healing in the battle with depression.
The book can be purchased at church on Sundays or on Amazon. If you know someone else who could benefit from reading this book–grab one for them too!
Out of the Darkness Walk on 10/16
Out of the Darkness is a community walk held in hundreds of cities across the nation. These events give people the courage to open up about their own connections to suicide, and a platform to create a culture that’s smarter about mental health. Friends, family members, neighbors and coworkers walk side-by-side, supporting each other and in memory of those we’ve lost. On Saturday, October 16, Ryan Lindsay, is leading a group on behalf of Calvary. You can sign-up by putting “Walk” or “Out of the Darkness” on your connection card or by emailing info@calvaryhartford.com.
